Today started off looking bright,
By afternoon was a fright.
Threat of losing everything,
Seem to make my heart sing.
How can this be,
It can't be happening to me.
I feel so numb,
Am i dumb.
Where's the time,
When your on a dime.
Am I losing my mind,
Or just in a bind.
My life is shattered,
Cause i'm battered.
Don't know what to do,
I am so blue.
Then I heard a voice say,
Come to me this day.
I will take your pain,
And cleanse it with rain.
So I knelt down,
With a frown.
I wanted to pray,
But didn't know what to say.
All of a sudden the words started to flow, And the light was
aglow.
My spirits lifted,
I felt gifted.
